Virginia Tech Information
The Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University is usually called by the more informal name of Virginia Tech. It is located in the town of Blacksburg in the United States. The university can trace its roots back to the late 19th century and today offers over 220 different programs to nearly 30,000 students. The president is currently Charles Steger who took over from Paul Torgersen.
Virginia Tech offers eighty degrees at undergraduate level and 140 at postgraduate across eight core subject areas covered by the following colleges:
