About University College London
University College London (UCL) is located in the capital of England, and was founded in 1826, having been proposed by Jeremy Bentham. It is spread out across London but is mainly located in the Bloomsbury area.
There are around 12000 undergraduate students and approximately 10,000 postgraduate scholars, in addition to the 8000 staff and faculty. The university has an endowment of 105 million pounds sterling. The provest is Malcolom Grant. The libraries of UCL hold many rare books including those by Newton. It is a member of the Russell group.
