The Polytechnic University of Valencia is a Spanish university that is located in Valencia. It is more oft referred tounder it’s local names of Universitat Politècnica de València, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, IPA or UPV. It was established in 1968 as the Higher Polytechnic School of Valencia and in 1971, it became a university.
The Universitat Politècnica de València is composed of four campuses namely: Alcoi, Blasco Ibañez, Camí de Vera and Gandia; and 14 schools and faculties specifically: Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Business Administration and Management, Higher Polytechnic School of Alcoy, School of Architecture, School of Industrial Engineering, School of Building Management, School of Civil Engineering, School of Agricultural Engineering, School of Engineering in Geodesy, School of Design Engineering, School of Telecommunications Engineering, School of Computer Science, School of Rural Environments and Enology and School of Cartography and Surveying.
