Radboud University Nijmegen Information

Although only carrying the name since 2004, the Radboud University Nijmegen, in the Netherlands, was initially established as a catholic university in 1923.

Radboud is a medium sized university and offers study in 38 core subject areas including staples such as biology, business, chemistry, economics, computers, medicine, physics, sociology and languages; other subjects of note include courses in artificial intelligence, spatial planning, speech language pathology and speech technology.

Some of the famous alumni who have attended the Radboud University Nijmegen in it's various guises include four dutch prime ministers: Dries van Agt, Louis Beel, Jo Cals, and Victor Marijnen. Others of note include the archbishop of Utrecht Adrianus Johannes Simonis, and the cartoonist Mark Retera.
