Claude Bernard University of Lyon Information
There are three main universities in Lyon, France; this one, the Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, is dedicated to the study of medicine and science. It was established at the start of the seventies and is a public university that is split into eleven different faculties. Although a fairly new university Lyon 1 can trace its roots back as far as 1833 when part of it was the Faculty for Science of Lyon.
