University of Cincinnati
Motto: Juncta Juvant: Strength in Unity
The University of Cincinnati is a public university located within the state of Ohio and is recognised as being one of the better coeducational public universities around. It is actually ranked within the top 25 public institutions in the USA and within the top 50 research institutions. There are approximately 35,000 students that make up the student body and with an endowment of $1 billion, the university is certainly able to care for those students very well indeed.
One of the things that attracts many students to study at the University of Cincinnati is the fact that it has a wide range of experiences to offer; more so than most of the other top research universities around. This is because research universities and especially the really successful ones tend to focus very much on lectures and labs. While you’ll get high quality levels of both at the University of Cincinnati, chances are the focus will be taken partially away from those types of teaching situations in favour of programs that include co-op opportunities, on line classes, seminars and a number of other interesting educational methods. These methods are used to enhance the information taken from lectures and labs and because of the diverse array of educational tools at their disposal, the University of Cincinnati is able to offer in excess of 600 different degree programs.
