The University of Buenos Aires is a very large public university located in the capital city of Argentina. It attracts over three hundred thousand students who are catered for by nearly thirty thousand staff. The university was first established in 1821 and is currently looked over by the rector Rubén E. Hallú.
Buenos Aires University has thirteen different faculties and its strength in medicine is covered by it having six hospitals. The University of Buenos Aires is ranked as the best Argentinean educational establishment. The faculties offer study across the following broad subject areas:
