Tel Aviv University Information

The Tel Aviv university is located in Israel and was established in 1956. It is a very large university having 106 departments across nine faculties.

In addition to the nine faculties at the Tel aviv university there are also 90 research schools and institutes belonging or having an affiliation with it. The nine faculties cover the following areas: Arts; Engineering; Exact Sciences; Humanities; Law; Life Sciences; Management; Medicine; and Social Sciences.

As can be expected with such a large university, and one of Israel's leading institutions there are many well known faculty and alumni associated with the Tel Aviv University; these include: Uzi Even, Asa Kasher, Ariel Rubinstein, Dan Gillerman, Yitzhak Orpaz-Auerbach and Lev Vaidman.
