The Royal Institute of Technology is located in Sweden's capital city, Stockholm; it is one of Europe's leading lights in the technology field. It is currently overseen by chairman Cecilia Seidegard.

Some of the famous people who have passed through the doors of the Royal Institute of Technology include the nobel prize winners Hannes Alfvén and Kai Siegbahn.
