Hiroshima University Information

Although Hiroshima University was officially created by a merger of institutes following the second world war it can trace its roots back to 1929. The university is located in two Japanese cities Hiroshima (from which it gets its name) and Higashihiroshima. Today the university caters for around 15,000 students of which about a third are carrying out studies at post graduate level.

Hiroshima university offers programs across a diverse range of topics, and these are covered by the following ten Faculties:
