This list of the most expensive tier one colleges and universities in America was created by taking the ranking positions of institutions listed in the PBA top American Universities list and ranking them by the fees that they charge to non-state students. By leaving ranking information available from PBA, the times and USnews, it is easy to gauge which universities offer good value for money despite their expense.
