City University Hong Kong Information
The city university is a fairly young establishment having been founded as recently as 1984. It is one of eight universities in Hong Kong and if you include students at the sub degree level it caters for around 25,000 students. The president of the City university of Hong Kong is Professor Way Kuo.
As can be seen from the rankings table above city university is a very well thought of institution with a world wide reputation; it is considered to be in the top 150 universities in the world by the times of London.
The city university has three major faculties, these being of Business, Humanities and social science, and the Science and Engineering. These cater for a wide variety of subjects such as accountancy; economics; marketing; Asian studies; international studies; English; Biology; computing; and Mathematics. In addition to the three major faculties there are also three schools, these are the School of Graduate Studies, School of Law and the School of Creative Media.
